Amsterdam warming up to USWA

Amsterdam – The Urban Sports Week Amsterdam 2017 has come to an end. For four days’ urban sport fans and 100,000 people from all over the world enjoyed the best of urban sports at multiple locations throughout the city. The weather was beautiful during these four days. Especially during the finals FIBA ​​3X3 Europe Cup basketball, finals BMX, finals skateboarding. During peak hours there were 15,000 people at the Museumplein.

International Skateboard contest during USWA

Tuesday 4th July 2017 – The Dutch Skateboard Federation (SFN)is organising an international skateboard competition at Museum Square on 8 and 9 July as part of the Urban Sports Week Amsterdam. The USWA Amsterdam Open Skateboard Contest is a major milestone for the Dutch skateboard selection on the way to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

22nd June 2017 – ISH Dance Collective is the ‘dance’ partner of Urban Sports Week Amsterdam (USWA) for the second year running. On Thursday 6th July ISH will be organising ‘The Ultimate 8’ battle, a breakdance battle where some of the best Dutch breakdance crews will be taking part in.

Moco Museum Official Supplier Urban Sports Week Amsterdam

Wednesday 14 June 2017- Urban Sports Week Amsterdam (USWA) and the Moco (Modern Contemporary) Museum are starting a collaboration ahead of next month’s urban sports event at the Museum Square. During the event Moco will provide the VIP hospitality venue and welcome all invited guests and relations of USWA and FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup Basketball.
