Watch out! This event is not for the faint-hearted. During Urban Sports Week Amsterdam a streetdiving competition will be held, featuring athletes from freerunning and diving and you can take part too! The competitors will dive from a tower up to 22m high in a BigAirbag! All jumps receive a score based on style by a jury.

Saturday April 30
Are you totally balanced in life? Then City Slack could be just the event for you! The Slacktivity team will teach you the fundamentals of a life on the wire. Slacklines will be set up at the Museum Square. Here you’ll learn how to balance on a slackline and learn some basic slackline-tricks.
Besides workshops there will be spectacular jump shows. A must see for all!
Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1
Do you want to see Amsterdam at its best? Join the Tourist City Morning Run on Saturday and Sunday morning. It’s the best way to combine a great work out and enjoy Amsterdam’s beauty. The start and finish of the runs are at the ‘’I Amsterdam’’ sign at the Museum Square. On your 5 km walk you will cross many famous places like the Flower market, the Redlight district, the Rijksmuseum and more great spots.
Sunday May 1
Another way to explore Amsterdam is by stand up paddling through the canals. On Friday night a 7.5 km SUP tour is organised, with start and finish at the Westergasfabriek. There are 15 boards available for people who want to join, but you are also welcome to bring your own board. Bringing a wetsuit is recommended, as the water is still pretty cold. Some previous SUP experience is required.

Sunday May 1
Urban Sports Week Amsterdam will be the stage for one of the biggest freerunning event in the Netherlands. On Sunday May 1 a spectacular obstacle course will set up at EYE: a dream setting for all freerunners!
Beginners and pros, young and old can take part as this parkour and freerunning event is not about competition but all about training and improving your skills. There will be challenging obstacles for freerunners of all levels.
